Who is this card for?

The American Express Platinum Cashback Everyday credit card is for anyone that would like a credit card with no annual fee and rewards you with cashback as you keep spending.

What does it cover to have a Platinum Cashback Everyday card?

There is no annual fees, as in, ZERO annual fee for keeping this card.

Interest rate is 24.7% APR variable which is charged on the balance. To avoid interest fees always pay the full balance on or before the due date. This way regardless of how much the interest rate is on your credit card, you will not pay any interest fees = FREE. A good way to avoid late payments is to set up direct debit. Additionally, if you like to follow your spending on your phone you can choose to download the AMEX app.

Which benefits and perks does the card come with?

The Platinum Cashback Everyday credit card has the benefit of earning you money as you spend it. The card also comes with travel insurance courtesy of American Express.

Note – There is no cap on how much cashback you can earn.

How do I earn cashback?

After the first three months of card membership you earn 0.5% for spending below £10,000. Any spending above £10,000 earns you 1% in cashbacks.

How do I receive the cashback?

Cashback is a percentage of a transaction that is credited back to you as a loyalty reward. Every time you spend on your Credit Card, you’ll automatically receive a percentage of that value as a reward into your Account.

The cashback is credited to your Account annually as a statement credit.
